Billy Joel Ties the Knot With Alexis Roderick in Surprise Wedding

Talk about fireworks! Billy Joel wed girlfriend Alexis Roderick in a surprise wedding ceremony at his Long Island estate on Saturday, People reports.

The couple, whose first child is due later this summer, "surprised guests at their annual July 4th party by exchanging vows in front of their family and close friends," a spokesperson said in a statement.

The intimate wedding was presided over by Joel's longtime friend and current New York governor, Andrew Cuomo. Joel, 66, and Roderick, 33, a former Morgan Stanley executive, started dating in 2009.

Also present for the ceremony were Joel's daughter, singer Alexa Ray, 29, and actor Kevin James, 50.
