Chris Soules' journey to find love on The Bachelorcame to an end at the place that means the most to him: home.

On Monday's finale, Whitney and Becca each joined Chris back in Arlington, Iowa where they met his family and had one last date before the big day. First to arrive was Whitney, who immediately won over his family with her bubbly personality and a heartfelt toast. "I want you to know how much I love your son and your brother and how important this is to me," she said holding back the tears. Whitney 1, Becca 0.

But soon after, Chris admittedto his family that he's torn. "You came here to find a wife, you didn't come to find a girlfriend," one sister reminded him. Later, a brother-in-law wondered if his feelings for Becca were wrapped up in the fact that she's played her cards "closer to the vest" and seemed less attainable.

Next, Becca joined Chris and his family and admitted she wasn't in love with him just yet. "I'm scared if I'm not at a certain place I'm supposed to be at is this supposed to end?" she said, also adding she wouldn't move to Iowa until she was absolutely sure he was the one. Honest, sure, but did Becca turn off his family?

Each of the women also got to spend one last night with Chris. With Becca, Chris told her hewas struggling with whether or not Becca truly sees a future between them. "I can't make any promises ... with a timeline of when I'd be ready to move and pick up my life," she told him. After some back-and-forth, Chris got the closest he'd get to an answer he wanted: that Becca wanted Chris in her future.

During his last date with Whitney, Chris showed off farm life and his gorgeous house while Whitney continued to profess her love (and shed some tears). They later reunited at Whitney's hotel room where she told Chris she's scared about getting hurt. "I'm excited about you and what we have," he responded, trying to reassure her.

On the day of the final rose ceremony, Chris said he didn't wake up with any clarity. Still, he met with Neil Lane to pick a ring. Finally, at the barn where he "raised his first pig," Chris was ready to hand out his final rose. Becca arrived first and despite Chris' smiles, itwas bad news. "I know I could see you as being my wife, but you're not really ready," he told her. "I have to go with my gut and my heart and I don't think it's fair for either of us to take that leap at this point."

After Chris said goodbye to Becca, a very nervous Whitney arrived. "It's not work for us, it's natural... it feels so right and it feels so perfect," he told her. "That's what I want for the rest of my life. I love you." Chris then got down on one knee. "Will you marry me?" "Absolutely!" she said. "I'm the luckiest girl in the entire world."

(In our TVGuide.com poll, 46 percent of more than 20,000 voters thought Chris should pick Whitney! Only 37 percent wanted him to choose Becca, and 17 percent voted for neither.)
