Bill Cosby's Wife Camille: Accusers "Consented" to Drugs and Sex

Bill Cosby's wife, Camille, refuses to believe that her husband of more than 50 years is a serial rapist.

Despite last week's news reports that Bill Cosby admitted to giving women Quaaludes in order to have sex with them, Camille Cosby thinks that the dozens of women who have accused the comedian of sexual assault "consented" to taking drugs and having sex with him, the New York Postreports.

"Camille still doesn't believe that Bill provided drugs and had sex with women without their consent," a source who works for the Cosby family told the Post. "She's well aware of his cheating, but she doesn't believe that her husband is a rapist."

As for Bill's infidelity, Camille says, according to the source: "You have to allow for space to let your partner do what he wants. I have done that and [Bill] has done that and there's no jealousy, no friction."

Camille Cosby is also her husband's business manager. She sees the allegations against him as "an affront to her and all that she's done to make him a star," a second source tells the Post.

Last week, Camille Cosby held a "crisis meeting" with the family's lawyers and PR advisors, according to the Post. Advisors suggested that Bill Cosby refrain from any attempts to stage a career comeback.

"I created him, I knew what I was getting and we'll fix this," Camille reportedly said at the meeting.
