Bill Cosby finally went to trial this week. At least on Inside Amy Schumer.
In the sketch, Amy Schumer plays Cosby's defense attorney in the court of public opinion.
"Did anyone feel raped by that?" Schumer asked, after showing a clip from The Cosby Show. "How about drugged? Nope. Me neither. I felt comforted by a familiar father figure."
"Let's remind ourselves what's at stake here," Schumer continued in her closing arguments. "If convicted, the next time you put in a rerun of The Cosby Show you may wince a little. You might feel al little pang and none of us deserve that. We don't deserve to feel that pang. We deserve to dance like no ones watching and watch like no ones raping."
