This Is Us Fans are NOT HAPPY That the Emmys Snubbed Mandy Moore

And they are letting it be known

This Is Us put up a good showing in the nominations for the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards. The NBC tear-jerker scored eight nominations, including a nod for Outstanding Drama Series. However, said nominations aren't enough to appease fans who are up in arms over the apparent snub of Mandy Moore.

Moore stars in the series as Rebecca, the matriarch of the Pearson family who lost her husband Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) in a tragic house fire after a crockpot went haywire. Her emotional performance in the episode, which flashed back to Jack's death, had many viewers thinking Moore would be a shoe-in for an Emmy nomination, so they were understandably horrified when the announcements came on Thursday and her name was never mentioned. (Moore' co-stars Ventimiglia and Sterling K. Brown, along with guest stars Ron Cephas Jones andGerald McRaney did score nominations.)

As people are wont to do these days, they took to Twitter to express their shock at Moore's snub.

Some fans expressed their anger at Moore's co-star Justin Hartley being snubbed as well. (No one seemed particularly upset about Chrissy Metz being left out though, but maybe that's because she's already scored two Golden Globe nominations for her performance in This Is Us.)

The 70th Primetime Emmy Awards will air Monday, Sept. 17 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on NBC.
