With Supernatural coming to an end next year after 15 seasons, Arrow stars Stephen Amell and David Ramsey are opening up about the series that changed the game for the CW and helped make it possible for other genre shows like Arrow (which is also ending this season) and The Vampire Diaries to thrive on the network. In a sweet video, Ramsey and Amell bade farewell to Supernatural with a special goodbye message that will have you jonesing for a crossover before it all ends.

"You guys really helped us just understand how this all works, having a hit show on the CW," Ramsey said in the video. "You guys have done it. You guys have been the trailblazers. Thanks for showing us the way."

While Ramsey went sweet, Amell took a more humorous approach, poking fun at Supernatural's lengthy run. "I did eight seasons on Arrow. Despite the fact that Supernatural did 15, there's two -- there's Jared [Padalecki] and Jensen [Ackles] -- so when you divide that by two, they only did seven and a half," Amell joked. "Anyway, hope their last season's decent."

Never change, Amell. Never change.

Arrow airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on The CW. You can catch Supernatural Thursdays at 8/7c.
